Dunes

There is something intrinsically attractive in dunes, whether it be the unique shapes, the way light plays upon them or the sheer majesty as they rise from the surrounding landscapes. The simple form and rhythm of shapes created by the light interacting with the dunes seem to create simple elegance.

The selection shown in this galley have been gathered from various locations across the United States, with particular emphasis on my two favourite locations; White Sands National Monument in New Mexico and the Mesquite Dunes in Death Valley National Park, California.
